TOP 10 WORST FILMS OF 2024 THAT I WATCHED:

Bad films are a blight unto society, but we acknowledge them and move on. Here are this year's batch:

1. THE DELIVERANCE (directed by Lee Daniels):

Glenn Close aside, this was terminally bad and eye-rolling.

2. MADAME WEB (directed by S.J. Clarkson):

when the advanced press is extremely bad and the studio wants a write off, you know it's really bad.

3. TRAP (directed by M. Night Shyamalan):

at first I thought the characters were gonna break out in some clear acknowledgement of how bad the script was at some point but, alas, it never happens.

4. WINNIE THE POOH: BLOOD AND HONEY 2 (directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield)

this is why poor low budget horror films that exceed expectations need not to exceed expectations.

5. THE CROW (directed by Rupert Sanders):

just an utter disaster.

6. THE WATCHERS (directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan):

maybe bad directing can b handed down in the genes, eh.

7. DIVORCE IN THE BLACK (directed by Tyler Perry):

from the ratchet-ass opening scene, this trainwreck careens wildly out of control.

8. RED ONE (directed by Hiran Garcia):

they spent $250 million on this?!

9. TAROT (directed by Anna Halberg & Spenser Cohen):

a bunch of unlikeable young characters in a bunch of uninteresting scenarios...you get the picture.

10. DAMSEL (directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo):

a real mixed bag.

TOP 20 WORST SONGS OF 2024:

As we wave goodbye to 2024, it's time to kick-off Listomania with the really bad songs I heard this year.

Here goes:

1. Karen (Pop Baby):

see, this is why the Right really hate the Woke Left.

2 Wah Gwan Delilah (Snowd4y feat. Drake):

while Drake lawyers up over another song's cultural impact, I wonder if it isn't partially to bury this shit.

3. Jail (Part 1) (Lil Dicky):

these so called mini-odes of his really need to be cur immediately.

4. Chatterbox (Macka Diamond):

guess there's no stopping her or accounting for taste, eh.

5. Bible (2Sdxr3all):

if you're gonna evoke the Good Book and flop then there's a special place in music Hell for you.

6. Days Of Girlhood (Dylan Mulvaney):

some more vocal training was really needed before such an attempt was made.

7. Facts (Tom MacDonald feat. Benj Shapiro):

now that his guy is headed back to the White House, I wonder what will both be riled up against now?

8. Thick Of It (KSI feat. Trippie Redd):

more like the thin of it all.

9. Grippy (Cash Cobain & J. Cole):

guess Cole ain't so saintly now.

10. Stir The Pot (Fart) (Soulja Boy):

it'd be like a day without sunshine if Soulja was not here.

11. You Are Worthy (IcejjFish):

even after switching to praise music, bro still is horrible.

12. Stop!! Please! She’s Already Dead (Rose Mulet):

maybe she thought this was emo spoken word-ish?

13. What Can Go So (Macka Diamond):

even for her this is culture-pandering at its worst.

14. Sorry For Saying The N Word (Yung Oogway):

it was meh to begin with but he really craps out right at the end.

15. Do The Busabus Pt, 2 (Busta Rhymes):

ugh.

16. LWRW (Tripple Redd):

messes up even with such a simple, catchy beat.

17. Carnival (YS, Ye, Ty Dolla Sign feat. Playboi Carti & Rich The Kid):

you'd think Kanye would know better but this is blandness all around.

18. Pizzeria (Yuno Miles):

last year's champ is not getting worse thankfully but if he thinks this was hot then he is doomed.

19. Doves (Armand Hammer feat. Benjamin Booker):

nothing much to see/hear here.

20. Think U The Shit (Fart) (Ice Spice):

her 15 minutes of fame winding up fast.
